Ilda Diffley joined SISTER in 2021 as Vice President, Development in Los Angeles.
Most recently Ilda was an executive at EntertainmentOne where she worked on the 2021 releases Blue Bayou, Starling, and Come from Away.
Originally from South Africa, Ilda began her career in Washington D.C. as a foreign correspondent for an African news service. She holds a master’s degree in Creative Writing from the University of Cape Town, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama and Journalism from Rhodes University in South Africa.
WHAT IS YOUR IDEA OF PERFECT JOY?
Receiving hugs. The teary hugs from my parents when we’re reunited, or enthusiastic hugs from my kids when I get home.
ON WHAT OCCASION DO YOU LIE?
I lie about Santa Claus; the Tooth Fairy; the Easter Bunny; and now also about all the adventures of that damn Elf on the Shelf.
