Chris spent the early part of his career as a first assistant director. After making the move into producing, Chris accrued producer credits on numerous high-profile Kudos series including 8, 9 & 10 of Spooks (two of which were BAFTA nominated for best series) and The Smoke written by the award-winning playwright Lucy Kirkwood. Chris produced season one of Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley dystopian thriller, Humans and went on to Executive Produce the second season. Chris joined SISTER in January 2017 where he has Executive Produced the BAFTA award-winning Landscapers written and created by Ed Sinclair, the internationally acclaimed Giri/Haji written and created by Joe Barton, re-united with Sam Vincent and Jonathon Brackley for Better, and co-executive produced multi award-winning Chernobyl.

Fry was promoted to Joint Creative Director of Scripted with Naomi de Pear in May 2021 and his forthcoming projects include Charlie Covell’s Kaos and Joe Barton's Black Doves both for Netflix.
